QR codes

Make a code for a link, a Wi‑Fi network, a contact card or a plain message, and download it as SVG or PNG. Nothing you type is stored — the code is built and forgotten.

Opens a web address.

Shows plain text when scanned.

Joins a wireless network — most phones offer to connect straight away. The password is part of the code — hand it only to people who may join.

A vCard the phone offers to save as a new contact.

Opens a new message, addressed and with a subject.

Offers to dial the number.

Opens a text message to the number.

Appearance

Higher error correction survives dirt, logos and small prints, but makes the code denser. Keep the contrast high — light on dark scans worse than dark on light.

The code appears here.

SVG scales to any size without blur — use it for print. PNG is the safe choice for documents and slides.

Dynamic codes

A dynamic code points at a short link on this server instead of the target itself, so you can change where it leads after it has been printed, switch it off, and see how often it is scanned — counted per day, without recording who scanned it.

Dynamic codes need an account; the generator above never does.
